Spookalicious Kit Freebie!

Wow, has it been a long time since I have been blogging! Life definitely has a way of taking the front seat sometimes:) AND, where has the time gone?! My kids are older now, my hubby has since retired from the military for a few years and now back at work (almost for a year now) and I am just taking it one day at a time with homeschooling my now 11 year old son Ethan! My other son Josh is in school (taking it one day at a time himself) in first grade!! My oldest daughter has graduated college and is now working, writing books, and loving life. My second to oldest daughter, Sarah, is happily married, moving up in her career, and has just closed on her first house!! She is loving life as well!! So, since things have (sort of) slowed down (at least for me), I was just cleaning up some old files on my computer and saw quite a few kits I have made in the past just, well, sitting there in old file folders! I still don't really have the time to really dig into designing again (not yet anyways), so I thought it would be fun to just
at least share some older kits that I have made in the past. This particular kit was made a couple of years ago for Halloween, and it is soooooo cute that I just HAD to get it out there for this Halloween! I hope you like it, and will have fun using it to design with or make super fun pages of your little trick or treaters, and have the most SPOOKALICIOUS Halloween EVER! Remember to stay safe, and God bless you and all of your precious families!!!

Life In Full Bloom April 2016 Blog Train!!

Whew, this month just flew by!! So many things going on! We had my oldest daughter's birthday, then my hubby surprised me with a trip to Florida, just the two of us!!! We spent a lot of time hanging out, laughing (Eric is such a ham), studying God's word, just meditating on God together, praying at the beach (it was sooooo nice and peaceful and quiet, and surprisingly COLD) and then we watched "Risen" at the theater!! We came home renewed, refreshed, and encouraged!! Its amazing what a couple of days away can do, ha ha:) Then we prepared for Easter! My kids knew it was in the air when we bought lots of eggs, Easter grass, the cutest bunnies, table decorations, etc....I really wanted a super cute table, on a super cheap budget, ha ha. I ended up using some old things I had, with just two new bunnies I found at Big Lots! My daughter loved them because she is a huge Beatrix Potter fan and they sort of had that look. Then I made a traditional white coconut cake for the center, and it was complete!

We had the best Easter! Easter Egg hunts, lots of friends (which we consider family), great food, great fellowship, just the best time!! Then, the next day all decorations came down, and my sweet hubby cleaned everything (he can not sit down for a second) while I finished the brunt of this sweet new Pixel Scrapper April 2016 Blog Train kit- Life In Full Bloom! I had already had a few items photo'd and extracted, ideas rolling around in my head, but still need to finish and polish it up!! I really had the best time with these BEAUTIFUL colors!! I didn't get as much done as I had originally planned, but I think it still turned out cute! I LOVE the theme as well! Life surely is in full bloom here, with all the flowers popping up, the trees growing their leaves out finally!! It is starting to look so beautiful and rich and green around here with splashes of color here and there!! AND starting to really warm up!! Yay, come on SPRING!! Well, here is my part of this beautiful blog train:

I hope you enjoy it and can use it!! AND don't forget to run back to Pixel Scrapper April 2016 Blog Train- Life In Full Bloom to grab all the rest of this train!! It is mindblowingly beautiful! Oh how I am amazed at all the beautiful artwork that sprung up all over this blog train! All those super talented designers! Don't forget to leave them some love!!

I really love the idea of "Life In Full Bloom"! As a christian, I can't help but think about how we bloom as we grow with Christ! It starts out as a seed, planted in our heart! Then, the more time we spend with our heavenly Father, reading His Word (truth), and praying and worshiping Him, we are nourished, and start growing spiritually! Our passions in life become His passions in life! Our hope lies only in Him and all His promises! We start loving Him more than our life here on Earth! It is a beautiful picture of a flower blooming to its full potential, for His purpose, to maturity in Christ! Our fragrance becomes our worship to Him and how we live our life for Him! We, as Christians, must bloom where God has planted us. Wherever we are in life, whatever we have to offer, we must do all for His glory, however small what we have to offer may seem to be!! After all, He is the one that gave us any good thing we have to offer, our talents, our desires, our abilities!! We must be humble enough to know that even the very calling to Him was because He loved us first, and called us to Him himself, even that we can not boast in!! Thank you Jesus for saving us from ourselves, given us a higher calling in life, May we bloom beautifully for you, giving you all the glory wherever you have planted us in life!!! And May God bless each and everyone of you and your precious families!! Lots of  love!!!!!!!

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Unwind March 2016 Blog Train Freebie!!

This month's theme for the Pixel Scrapper March 2016 Blog Train is "Unwind" and the colors are
just beautiful, once again! They make me think of spring, which is right around the corner, although, with today's weather, I felt like it was already here. And with the theme "Unwind" rolling around in
my head, I really couldn't think of a better way to unwind, for me, than to sit outside with a cup of coffee, watching my son collect "treasures" from around the yard and my hubby sitting next to me talking about a little of everything while the sun wrapped its rays around us with its long awaited familiar warmth, and a cool breeze to remind us that we are almost there, but not quite yet:) So what do you do to unwind a bit after a long day, or season, or family drama, haha! Some people have a
glass of wine, some go to the spa ( my version of a spa day is the miracle of getting to shave my
legs) some people go on vacations, (yeah, that does not happen with me either, my vacation is when my boys sleep in their own bed and I can actually sleep with room to move my legs around). I guess, for me, its putting on my pj's (not the ones I wear all day, haha, just kidding, I do actually get dressed sometimes), climbing into my bed at the end of the day with Netflix at my full disposal (so many choices) with a big plate of chocolate cake and a glass of milk (THAT GOLD RIGHT THERE)!! I would say "I HAVE ARRIVED", but then  I get even more excited when my hubby says he will put the kids to bed and I don't have to worry about it)!!! OH YEAH!! Yep, I'm on top of the world!!!!!!
Yeah, I know I'm sad:) Haha!!  I also love to unwind with a cup of coffee (my IV) and
like I said before, hanging out with hubby talking about everything, politics, Jesus, quantum mechanics (this is where he talks and I think about that new lip gloss at Sephora that I WILL find the drugstore knockoff that looks IDENTICAL to it for cheaper), and all the family drama that we will be fighting for that last muscle relaxer over to deal with over the next week! So yeah, coffee, netflix, pj's, anything sweet, drugs, and LOTS of prayer, haha, I guess that's how I unwind these days, and of course, designing, haha:)

Anyways, I had a lot of fun making this kit and I really hope you will enjoy it and can use it:)
Here is my part!!

This blog train is so much fun and I know that whatever ways you find to unwind, you'll be
sure to find something on this train that will relate, as it is so versatile and fun! So be sure to run back
over to the Pixel Scrapper March 2016 Blog Train- Unwind to get the rest of the contributions and be sure to also leave some love along the way:) May God bless you all and I pray you will rest in the Lord be blessed during this month and all year long!!! Hugs:)

For The Love Feb. 2016 Blog Train Freebie!!

I absolutely fell in love with the colors that were used in the Pixel Scrapper Blog Train for this month!! Every year in February, my eyes glaze over at the most beautiful combinations of
reds and pinks and hearts and cupcakes and more hearts and doilies, and on and on of anything
that just says " I love you"!! I literally go to stores just to walk down the ailes and soak
it all in!! I know, maybe I am a little "too" obsessed with color and texture and just the beauty
of it all. I just can't help it, it makes me happy:) So when I saw the colors and the theme "For The
Love", I was happy, very happy:) I definitely wanted to participate if I could squeeze some time in:)
So every other day after physical therapy, I would come home, pop an 800 ml of Ibuprofen in, put
super fluffy (and colorful I might add) socks on my feet, curl up in my computer chair and
immerse myself in the beautiful world of colors, doodles, and all other kinds of possibilities
as I have magazines all around me turned to pages oozing of sweet Valentine goodness,
inspiration, colors, and ideas that make me, just happy!! I hope you enjoy it, along with all
the other great Valentine love that this blog train will bring!!!! I had so much fun with it that I
also made some Journal Cards to go with it:)
 Here is my part:)

This kit consists of 13 papers and 75 super sweet elements, and
16 adorable 3x3 journal cards to add some smoochable love

Happy Valentines Month!!

1 John 4:7-12World English Bible (WEB)

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love. By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice[a] for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8World English Bible (WEB)

Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

Cookie Styles December 2015 Blog Train Freebie!!

I am so sorry, it seems this month I didn't have the time I thought I would to throw something together for the Pixel Scrapper December 2015 Blog Train- Lets Get Festive!! I SOOOO wanted
to make an elf type kit for it! But, alas, with Thanksgiving travelling, sick family members, and
so many other things going on , I only just managed to make some cookie styles that I was going
to use to make some elements for the kit that I was so envisioning, cute little elves, gingerbread
houses, candy, cookies, and all manner of sugery sweetness! Oh well, I will just have to make it
later down the line!! Sooooo, I do, at least, have the cookie styles to share with you:) Although,
not much, and certainly not the greatest, they are super fun to play with:) I so hope you enjoy
them and use them for any sugery cookie sweetness in your designs or scrapping!

Also, here is a revised version of an older Christmas kit I did a couple of years ago
that I thought I would share with you. It has nothing to do with this blog train, but
I figured since it was related to Christmas, it might be fun to share:)

Don't forget to run on over to the Pixel Scrapper December 2015 Blog Train to grab
the other contributions, and I pray that God will Bless you all this wonderful Holiday
season as we reflect on the greatest gift of all to mankind, our precious savior Jesus
Christ, son of God!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!

Thankful Harvest November 2015 Blog Train Freebie!!!

Its that time again for another wonderful Pixel Scrapper Blog Train!! Where did October go? So many things have gone on for us in October that the time just FLEW by:) Lots of fun decorating, fall pumpkins, cute owls and ghosties, and our Annual Fall Fellowship Halloween Party with food, costumes, trick or treating hay rides, a bon fire with smores and whatever else we can conjure up for that night (coming up this Saturday as I write this)!! I can't wait:)  So yeah, the month is pretty much over, and November is here in a couple of days! November....the month for reflecting on "Thankfulness"! What are we truly Thankful for? My mom gave us a scare a couple of weeks ago when she was in the hospital again with serious heart problems. She is so young, in her early 60's. She had "another" surgery and we are praying all goes well for her as this is really the last thing they can do for her (she is no longer a candidate for open heart surgery), so they put a stent in and are just hoping for the best. As I traveled to Mississippi to be there, I thought about how fragile life really is, how fragile she really is. I pray for her and just have to leave her in God's hands, and that gives me peace because I know He loves her and is always there with her. I am TRULY thankful for that! That Jesus loves us beyond time and space, beyond our life here on Earth, beyond our past (all of our mistakes and sins)! That if we simply believe on Him, believe on His name, we will be saved! So simple, yet so profound! So powerful and so sweet! There is nothing more that I could possibly be so truly thankful for!! As we go through the month of  November, let us really think about what we have
to be thankful for and then thank our almighty God! I am also thankful for the AWESOME Pixel Scrapper November 2015 Blog Train this month!! The theme is "Thankful Harvest" and the colors are just so pretty together! I have to admit, It was killing me not to have a brown in the color palette, and I wasn't sure how things would look without the traditional autumn brown. But, I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty the colors worked together and that I really didn't need the brown after all. It had plenty of neutral and contrasting colors with the tan and black:) So, anyway, here is my part:

Don't forget to run back over to Pixel Scrapper November 2015 Blog Train for the other parts:) And, as always, don't forget to leave some love along the way:) Thank you all so much for always blessing all of those participating by leaving such sweet comments!! We are all of your biggest fans as we strive to make something we think you will like and can use for your precious memories and designing!!!! Thank you for always coming back! May God bless you and your sweet families this month and may we all bless our heavenly Father this month as we give Him all the thanks He deserves!!!!!!!! Love and hugs to all and I wish you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me."    John 14:6

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and  admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Ok.....this one is a biggie!!:) I am so super excited about this month's  Pixel Scrapper blog train!! The theme is "That Teenage Life" and I think since so many people were in search of and requesting more teenage boy type kits, some of us were more focused on a  "boys" type theme! And, since I have boys and they are growing up so fast, I totally took this opportunity to just go crazy with this and create anything and everything I thought one could use to scrap their little adventurers all the way up and through their teenage years!! Other's focused on girls, so their is a little bit of everything in this super awesome blog train ,haha!
